Our history
Our evolution reflects our commitment to personalised advice, growing from Queensland’s oldest stockbroking firm to a self-licensed financial advisory business. Here’s our story:
- 1987: Founded by John Dornbusch as a branch of Nevitts Ltd., Queensland’s oldest stockbroking firm.
- 1998: The business became part of Macquarie Bank under the name Macquarie Financial Services.
- 2004: Andrew Wielandt and John Dornbusch acquired the Toowoomba operation, launching Dornbusch Partners.
- 2019: Andrew Wielandt became the sole owner and Director.
- 2020: We rebranded to DP Wealth Advisory to better reflect our comprehensive services.
- 2024: We proudly moved to the historic Toowoomba Foundry, marking a new chapter in our journey.
